Collection: Xiang Yun Sha

Xiang yun sha silk (pronounced SHUNG YOON SHAH), also known as Gambiered Guangdong silk, is a type of silk fabric made through an ancient handcrafted dyeing and finishing technique. During the dyeing process, only natural plant gambier juice and river mud containing high-valence iron ions are used, giving it characteristics such as coolness, comfort, and quick-drying. In 2008, the dyeing and finishing technique of Xiang yun sha was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
